Aftab Hussain is a strategic adviser and executive partner with over 25 years of frontline operational and leadership experience across energy, oil & gas, utilities, petrochemicals and specialty chemicals, mining, and heavy and precision manufacturing. His career includes senior leadership roles at Baker Hughes, NOV and Flowserve, where he led quality, operational excellence, HSE, maintenance and reliability, supplier performance and digital transformation, building credibility on the factory floor as well as in the boardroom.

His expertise spans executive search, talent acquisition strategy and senior operational advisory. He partners with clients ranging from specialist engineering firms to large multinational organisations to secure chief executives and senior functional leaders, including COOs, VPs of Operations, HSE Directors and Digital Officers, capable of driving performance in an era of digital disruption and sustainability imperatives. Alongside search, he advises on enterprise transformation, operational excellence (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM), Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance powered by AI, and HSEQ, ESG and decarbonisation frameworks built on ISO and API standards.
